• Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $3,000 - $3,080 per week

Boston OR RN Job Details

• Location: Boston, MA 02215 – Fenway-Kenmore area (Massachusetts nursing jobs)
• Setting: Inpatient Level I Trauma Surgery, West Main Campus
• Contract Length: 13-week travel nurse assignment
• Start Date: October 6, 2025
• Shift: Day shifts; options include 4x10-hour shifts (7:00am–5:30pm) or a combination of 2x12-hour shifts (7:00am–7:30pm) and 2x8-hour shifts (7:00am–3:30pm) per week
• Hours: 40 hours per week (guaranteed 72 hours biweekly, excluding on-call)
• On-call: Up to 2 weekends/month; short call shifts (3pm–7pm or 3am–7am); 30-minute response time required
• Floating: Primarily West Main campus; may float to East or CVI OR as needed
• Orientation: Weekly (every Monday, barring holidays)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent operating room (OR) nursing experience (neuro, ortho trauma, kidney transplant experience required)
• Proficiency with scrub and/or circulate general surgery, robotics, transplants, ortho, neuro, spine, ENT (head & neck), GYN, urology, organ procurement, trauma
• Must reside at least 50 miles from facility (no local travelers)
• Must not have worked at Beth Israel Lahey Health as perm or per diem within the last six months
• Ability to work holidays as needed during contract
• All requested time off (RTO) must be presented at submission

OR RN Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate in diverse surgical procedures including bariatric, neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic trauma, spine, major plastic reconstruction, robotic surgery, and kidney/liver transplants
• Deliver expert clinical care in a fast-paced Level I Trauma OR setting
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care and safety
• Participate in on-call rotations and short call shifts as scheduled
• Float to other operating room units as needed to support hospital operations
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and best practices
