Cost Accountant - Hybrid

Vaco is partnering directly with the CFO of a growing manufacturing company seeking a hands-on Cost Accountant to support plant operations. Contract OPENING STARTS IMMEDIATELY

Where: Canton, MA

When: Immediate Need

Pay: $55-$65/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and maintain standard costs , variances, and inventory reporting
• Partner with plant leadership on cost control and efficiency initiatives
• Support month-end close , including journal entries and reconciliations
• Evaluate manufacturing KPIs , margins, and production performance
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting for plant operations

Qualifications:

• Strong experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment
• Deep understanding of plant operations and inventory accounting
• Advanced Excel skills (ERP experience preferred)
