Heat Pump & Solar Sales Representative
About the Role:
NuWatt Energy is looking for a motivated sales representative to sell residential heat pump installations across Massachusetts, with the ability to cross-sell solar systems. You'll be the face of our company in the field — educating homeowners on energy savings, navigating available incentives, and closing deals.
This is a ground-floor opportunity with a growing company in one of the strongest clean energy markets in the Northeast. Please note that this position is commissions-only, but with uncapped potential.
What You'll Do:
- Generate and close residential solar and heat pump sales across MA
- Conduct in-home consultations, energy assessments, and proposal presentations
- Educate homeowners on MA incentive programs (Mass Save HEAT Loan, Mass Save HP rebates, etc.)
- Manage your pipeline from first contact through signed contract
- Collaborate with our installation team to ensure smooth project handoffs
What We're Looking For:
- 2+ years in outside sales, preferably in heat pump / HVAC
- Familiarity with MA's clean energy incentive landscape is a strong plus
- Self-starter who thrives with autonomy and a commission-driven structure
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout MA
- Strong communication skills and comfort presenting to homeowners
- Valid driver's license
