Location: Dorchester, MA
Duration: 2025-2026 School Year
Start Date: 3/2/2026
Schedule: Part time - 20 hours /week
Pay Rate: $35/ hour based on experience and licensure
Job Description:

Seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLP-A) to support students across grades K-8 in a school setting in the Boston area.
-
The SLP-A will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide high-quality therapy services that promote communication, academic achievement, and social success.
Requirements:
-
Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
-
Current Massachusetts licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (or eligibility to obtain).

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
-
Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse school community.

110 2nd Avenue, Needham, MA 02494The Speech Language Pathologist Assistant assists the Speech Language Pathologist in providing speech and language services. The Speech Language Pathologist Assistant will have clinical, educational, documentation, and treatment related activities while working within the scope of responsibilities/ plan of care assigned by the Speech Language Pathologist and/or physician.
Minimum Requirements:

Must be a graduate of a SLPA program with an associate's degree, or have a bachelor's degree in a speech-language pathology or communication disorders program
-
Successful completion of a minimum of 100 hours of supervised field work experience or its clinical experience equivalent as required by state and/or contract
-
Current certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in the State of Practice
-
Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
-
One (1) year of prior professional Speech-Language Pathology Assistant experience preferred
-
Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
-
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
-
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
-
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
-
Must be at least 18 years of age
