The Role

As our Sous Chef, you will partner directly with the Executive Chef to oversee daily kitchen operations. This role goes beyond basic kitchen supervision. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who balances operational efficiency with a genuine passion for culinary excellence and the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the comprehensive management of daily kitchen operations and staff scheduling.
• Ensure all dishes are executed to our strict standards of quality, flavor, and presentation.
• Monitor inventory levels, manage supplier relationships, and maintain optimal food costs.
• Train, mentor, and develop line cooks to build a strong and cohesive culinary team.
• Maintain a pristine kitchen environment that strictly adheres to all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced upscale dining environment.
• Deep knowledge of New American cuisine and modern culinary techniques.
• Adept at utilizing operational reports to identify trends, reduce waste, and improve profitability.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with a focus on relationship-building and team success.
