Sales Clerk

Sales Clerks are the face of our stores and play a crucial role within our organization. By providing a welcoming and friendly environment, assisting our guests in locating products, making recommendations, and serving guests within a clean and well-stocked store, you are building relationships within our community. This position requires a positive attitude, outgoing personality, and a willingness to assist our customers, vendors, and other teammates to the best of their ability. Sales Clerks will undertake a variety of tasks each shift including; generating sales, housekeeping, merchandising, stocking, pricing, cash register operations, and loss prevention.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting, welcoming, and thanking our Guests: Always displaying a friendly and approachable demeanor and assisting Guests with your best foot forward is our #1 priority.
- Point-of-sale transactions: Working at the cash register processing transactions efficiently and accurately. Properly monitoring and accounting for all cash on hand.
- Product knowledge and recommendations: Locating and suggesting new and/or complementary products and displaying knowledge of the stores offerings to enhance the shopping experience for our Guests.
- Restocking and Merchandising: Receiving and stocking products, monitoring merchandise levels, forward facing labels, and arranging special sale items to engage customers and showcase our offerings.
- Monitoring and maintaining a neat and clean store appearance: Cleaning windows/doors, counters, shelves, pumps, bathrooms, removing trash, sweeping/mopping and removing hazards to provide a bright and safe environment for our Guests both inside and outside.
- Inventory management: Using proper counting and tracking methods to account for critical merchandise, tracking of items and properly notifying management when items are low before we run out of stock.
