Specimen Processor | Clinical - Needham Heights, MA

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is partnered with a much-respected facility in Needham Heights, MA who is currently seeking a qualified Specimen Processor to assist them on a contractual basis. Details of the position include: Position: Specimen Processor Location: Needham Heights, MA Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks with likelihood of extension - temp to perm possibility Schedule: + 40 hours per week + Monday - Friday + 3:30pm - 12:00am + Occasional weekends and holidays + First day will start 11a-12p for training/orientation Contract Requirements: · 6+ months of specimen processing experience in either a phlebotomist or similar role · Phlebotomist experience preferred - helps candidates understand the role · Will be labeling specimens, verifying patient information, and entering data - must be detail oriented · No travelers - local temp only · Experience with any Laboratory Information System is a plus, does not need to be EPIC/Beaker - willing to train · Covid vaccine no longer required · No specific certification or degree required - just relevant experience Pay: + $25/hr EMR: Epic Parking: Free on-site Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have regarding the position.
