We are a growing local sales firm that represents major names in the telecommunications industry. With new contracts secured and expansion underway, we are actively hiring an Entry Level Sales Support Specialist to help bring cutting-edge telecommunication services directly to customers. This is a commission-based role ideal for someone driven, outgoing, and eager to build a long-term career in sales.
As an Entry Level Sales Support Specialist, you will be responsible for engaging with customers, promoting our client’s products, and helping drive sales on a day to day basis. If you’re outgoing, reliable, and ready to join a supportive team, this could be the perfect role for you.
Key Responsibilities of the Entry Level Sales Support Specialist- Serve as a representative for Verizon, proactively engaging with prospective customers in designated residential areas.
- Deliver persuasive and informative presentations that clearly articulate the benefits, value, and unique selling propositions of Verizon services to secure customer interest and commitment.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of Verizon’s full residential product portfolio, including wireless, internet, and TV services, along with current promotions and competitive advantages.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand individual customer communication and entertainment requirements, then skillfully recommend tailored Verizon solutions.
- Effectively address customer questions, concerns, and objections with confidence and accuracy, employing strong negotiation skills to successfully close sales.
- Guide customers smoothly through the entire sales and activation process, ensuring accurate completion of applications, contracts, and service enrollments.
- Consistently meet or exceed individual sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) for new customer acquisitions and overall revenue contribution.
- Maintain meticulous and confidential records of all direct customer interactions and sales activities within CRM systems.
- Actively participate in ongoing training sessions, product updates, and coaching to continuously enhance sales techniques and maintain expertise on Verizon offerings.
- Must possess a High School Diploma or GED, be 18+ years old, and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Up to two years of relevant experience in direct sales, retail sales, customer service, or other direct customer-facing roles. (Entry-level candidates with strong potential and a desire to learn are highly encouraged to apply!)
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport and articulate information clearly and persuasively.
- Proven active listening abilities and an empathetic approach to accurately assess and resolve customer needs.
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve effectively and think critically in dynamic sales scenarios.
- Maintains professionalism, patience, and composure in high-pressure or challenging situations.
- Exhibits a proactive, customer-first attitude with a strong focus on driving satisfaction and achieving sales goals.
- Detail-oriented and organized with competence in basic computer use and eagerness to learn CRM platforms.
