Our mission to positively impact people's lives every day in every home around the world allows our employees to be thinkers and tinkerers, designers and doers, creators and number crunchers, makers of things they love. As we continue to grow, we are excited to add a Product Test Engineer to our global team. This is not a QA or Software Testing position.

The Shark Product Testing Department’s role is to ensure our customers get the highest-reliability products possible. We do this through extensive testing of our products as we develop them. This role is responsible for owning all testing activities for one or more products in development. You will support the Test Manager in defining the testing needs of our products, ensuring these test activities are properly run, and reporting out of results. - Under supervision of Test Team management, be a hands-on contributor in designing, setting up, and executing product tests. These tests are primarily on physical products, but some validation of software may be required.
- Identify and help implement opportunities to automate product testing.
- With oversight from management, create test protocols to ensure we are testing effectively and efficiently.
- Perform black box testing on your products to ensure proper consumer user experience.
- Organize and report your results to Test Team management and product teams.
- Order materials and equipment needed to perform testing.
- Learn how to use new test equipment and document test protocols.
