Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience required License: RN State License Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - CPI Certification - AWHONN Certification Must-Have: - COVID-19 Vaccine - Drug Screen - Background Check Description: The registered nurse will provide high-quality care to patients in labor and delivery. The nurse will assist in the delivery of newborns and support mothers during the childbirth process. The position requires the ability to effectively monitor fetal heart rates and assess labor progression. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for working with healthcare staff. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in labor and delivery nursing skills. The nurse will be responsible for adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines. Compliance with all required health assessments and screenings is mandatory prior to starting. This role may involve participation in training and competency assessments related to labor and delivery practices. The nurse will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care. Flexibility and adaptability are important traits as the nursing environment can be fast-paced.
