Experienced Bookkeeper / Accountant
- Maintain accurate financial records across multiple entities
- Manage full-cycle accounting including AP, AR, billing, payroll, and GL
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Perform account reconciliations and support month-end close
- Prepare and file fuel and transportation-related tax reports (including IFTA)
- Reconcile fuel purchases, deliveries, and customer billing
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Liaise with external accountants and regulatory agencies
- Identify and implement process improvements
- 5+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience (fuel or trucking industry preferred)
- Strong understanding of fuel tax reporting and IFTA compliance
- Experience with QuickBooks (Online or Enterprise) and strong Excel skills
- Ability to manage high-volume transactions across multiple entities
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
