The Community Action, Inc. Head Start/Early Head Start (CAI HS/EHS) program provides comprehensive early education and care services for children ages 0-5 and serves more than 300 infants, toddlers, pregnant mothers, fathers and preschoolers.

CAI HS/EHS is seeking qualified candidates for the following position:

Preschool Teacher(s)

Seasonal school year and full year positions available

We are offering a $1500 hiring bonus.

Seeking qualified Preschool Teachers to join our team in Haverhill, MA. Minimum requirements include prior experience working with young children and an Associate Degree or higher in ECE. We offer a supportive work environment that includes paid lunch and planning time, ongoing coaching and professional development, and low teacher-to-child ratios to support meaningful interactions. Disabilities/Behavioral Specialist on staff and classroom support from 1:1 paraprofessionals and public school itinerant specialists. Position allows for home visits to foster relationships with children and families.

The full year position is 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year; seasonal school year position is 35 hours per week 38 weeks per year including paid lunch break and office planning time.

Starting salary for both seasonal and year round Preschool Teacher positions is $25.86 to $30.14, dependent on education and experience.

All positions require a successful completion of a backgrounds record check. The positions will remain open until filled.
