As a Cultivation Technician 1 at Vangarden Cannabis, you'll embark on a hands-on journey in the heart of our cultivation team. Under the guidance of the Cultivation Supervisor, you'll engage in a diverse array of routine tasks essential to our cultivation areas, following formal training on department-specific procedures. Your responsibilities will include cleaning, transplanting, pruning, harvesting, and monitoring plant health conditions while adhering to company and state regulations. You'll play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and organized workspace and will be responsible for reporting any equipment issues promptly. Additionally, you'll collaborate closely with your team to ensure the highest standards of plant care and sustainability are met, all while embodying our company's mission and values.

To thrive as a Cultivation Technician 1 at Vangarden Cannabis, several skills and attributes are essential. While prior cannabis experience is not necessary, a strong work ethic, reliability, and consistent attendance are crucial for uninterrupted operations. Candidates must be able to work in hot, humid environments and adhere to strict standard operating procedures. You should be comfortable utilizing aerial lifts and ladders safely after training and have the capability to oversee teams of five or more. Additionally, physical requirements include the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform various manual tasks efficiently, all while maintaining balance and coordination.
