Heavy-Duty Diesel Powertrain Technician (A/B Level)
Step into a day on our Worcester, MA shop floor
Before sunrise, the air-conditioned bay doors roll open and your first unit is already staged. As an A- or B-level Heavy-Duty Diesel Powertrain Technician, you’ll diagnose, repair, and return diesel-powered equipment to peak performance — from electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting to scheduled PMs and precision documentation. You’ll work independently when it’s time to focus, and shoulder-to-shoulder with teammates to meet repair timelines.

- Pay: $27 to $50 per hour, based on experience
- Hours: 3:00 a.m.–11:30 a.m. or 10:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m.

What you’ll take on
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and related systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and thorough inspections
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Accurately document repairs and services performed
- Follow safety procedures and company standards at all times
- Balance independent work with team collaboration to meet deadlines
What you bring
- Experience as a Diesel Mechanic/Technician (A or B level)
- Hands-on knowledge of diesel engines, diagnostics, and repair
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and shop equipment
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable, safety-first mindset in a fast-paced environment
