Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to oversee all phases of project delivery, including estimating, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and execution. The successful candidate will manage field operations, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence. This role will serve as the primary client liaison, fostering trust and transparency throughout the project lifecycle. Additionally, the Construction Project Manager will collaborate with preconstruction and estimating teams to develop competitive bids and value-engineered solutions, while monitoring project financials, change orders, and risk management strategies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of project delivery: estimating, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and execution.
• Manage field operations, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
• Serve as primary client liaison, fostering trust and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with preconstruction and estimating teams to develop competitive bids and value-engineered solutions.
• Monitor project financials, change orders, and risk management strategies.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Essential Skills

• 10+ years of experience in commercial construction with a strong track record in project management.
• Proven success managing healthcare, academic, life sciences, or cultural projects.
• Proficiency in project management platforms such as Procore, CMiC, or Bluebeam.
• Strong leadership qualities and exceptional communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• CSL certification is heavily preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with sustainable building practices is a plus.

Work Environment

The role requires spending 75% of the time on job sites and 25% in the office. This position offers a great opportunity to join a well-established and reputable firm on the East Coast, with significant potential for growth and the chance to help expand the office.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Worcester, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $86.53 - $96.15/hr.
