About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Director North America to lead our commercial strategy in one of our most important and fast-growing regions. This senior leader will be responsible for building strong customer relationships, driving profitable growth, developing high performing teams, and expanding Mowi’s market presence across retail, foodservice, and value-added channels. You will play a critical role in shaping the future of Mowi’s commercial success in North America.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the North American commercial strategy in alignment with global and regional business objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the North American sales organization; foster a high performance, customer centric culture.
- Drive revenue and margin growth across retail, foodservice, and value-added product categories.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key strategic accounts and partners.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to identify opportunities and risks.
- Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing, and Product Development to deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Ensure accuracy in sales forecasting, reporting, and budget management.
- Represent Mowi Markets North America at industry events, trade shows, and partner meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA is an advantage.
- Minimum 8–10 years of senior commercial leadership experience, ideally within seafood, CPG, or perishable FMCG.
- Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth in large, complex markets.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship building skills.
- Strategic mindset with strong analytical and financial acumen.
- Ability to work cross functionally in a global matrix organization.
- Willingness to travel.
