Family Medicine MD

The Family Medicine MD will join an academic medical center with over 500 beds, operating as a nonprofit institution with physician-led governance and a strong teaching mission. In this role, the Family Medicine MD will report to the Department Chair or Medical Director of Family Medicine, partnering closely with clinic operations leadership and nursing leaders to ensure smooth, patient-centered access to care. They will collaborate daily with advanced practice providers, behavioral health, pharmacy, and care management teams, all aligned to optimize outcomes and patient experience. Depending on interest, the Family Medicine MD may also precept residents and mentor medical students alongside distinguished faculty.

The Family Medicine MD will practice in a busy, team-based ambulatory setting with a steady, sustainable daily patient volume and dedicated support from skilled RNs, medical assistants, and panel coordinators. The role will provide full-spectrum outpatient care across the lifespan, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and same-day acute visits, with optional participation in inpatient coverage, obstetrics, or office procedures based on interests and clinical needs 🩺. The Family Medicine MD will contribute to quality improvement, population health initiatives, and protocol development while maintaining accurate documentation within an integrated EMR.
