A day in this role

You arrive, gear up, and get to work keeping production moving. You’ll split your day between proactive maintenance and fast, thoughtful troubleshooting—partnering with operators, sharing information, and prioritizing what matters most for safety and uptime.

What you’ll do

• Champion safety in every task and follow all workplace policies and procedures.
• Communicate clearly with teammates; share information, resolve issues collaboratively, and give/receive feedback professionally.
• Anticipate changes in priorities and adapt to meet organizational goals.
• Work independently with a strong drive for results and accountability.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair a variety of mechanical machinery and process equipment.
• Assess and prioritize business needs to focus on the most critical work.
• Analyze technical issues across the site and implement durable fixes.
• Demonstrate strong work ethic, self-direction, and reliability.
• Continuously learn new skills and adopt emerging technologies.
• Use computer software for work orders, documentation, and troubleshooting.
• Operate forklifts and scissor lifts safely and effectively.
• Deliver precision work such as welding, pipe fitting, rigging, and lubrication.
• Show up on time and maintain dependable attendance.

What you bring

• High School Diploma or GED (required); a 2-year technical/vocational degree in a related field is strongly preferred.
• Four (4)+ years of relevant experience (e.g., general mechanic, pipefitter, chemical manufacturing, refinery) preferred.
• Millwright and/or precision mechanic background preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic electrical gear, motors, and controls.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend documents in English is desired.
• Commitment to PPE: earplugs, gloves, safety glasses, hard hats, and steel-toed shoes are required.
• Physical capability to stand, walk stairs, twist, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb for extended periods; able to lift/move up to 45 pounds.
