Key Responsibilities:
- Perform welding and fabrication using MIG, TIG, Stick, Dual Shield, and other welding processes
- Complete installation, repair, and fabrication of metal materials, structures, and fixtures
- Conduct basic machining tasks, including deburring, grinding, and cleaning parts
- Operate fabrication and welding equipment such as band saws, grinders, press brakes, shears, drill presses, and chop saws
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols accurately
- Measure materials accurately using a tape measure
- Follow all Safe Work Practices and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Work independently with minimal supervision while meeting job deadlines
- Serve as a lead person on job sites when required, supervising crew members
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure quality service
- Provide and maintain personal tools appropriate to skill and experience level
Job Specifications
Qualifications:
- Dependable, reliable, and hardworking
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of welding tools, equipment, and materials
Welding & Technical Experience:
- MIG Welding
- Dual Shield MIG Welding
- Stick / Rod Welding
- Ability to read blueprints
- TIG Welding
- Oxy-Acetylene Cutting
- Plasma Cutting
- Carbon Arc Cutting
- Grinding and machining operations
