What You’ll Do
SimpliSafe is looking for a Mobile Software Engineer to design and implement native mobile applications that millions of users utilize to interact with our award winning wireless/IoT solution. In this role, you will partner with cross functional teams such as Product Management, Design/UX, and QA to develop clean elegant code using the latest technologies.
What You’ll Bring
- 4+ years of software development experience
- 2+ years of experience developing and publishing consumer facing native mobile apps.
- Experience developing in Java, Kotlin, Objective-C or Swift. React Native, React, Angular, JS experience a plus
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
- Familiarity with MVVM architecture and developing testable code
- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
- Experience developing interfaces using object oriented perspectives
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as, collaborate with a diverse team.
- Familiarity with git or similar version control systems
- Open to expanding your repertoire of skills
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject preferred

The target annual base pay range for this role is $93,800 to $137,700.
This target annual base pay range represents our good-faith estimate of what we expect to pay for this role. We use a market-based compensation approach to set our target annual base pay ranges and make adjustments annually. We carefully tailor individual compensation packages, including base pay, taking into consideration employees’ job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and other relevant business factors.
Beyond base pay, we offer a Total Rewards package that may include participation in our annual bonus program, equity, and other forms of compensation, in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and lifestyle benefits. More details can be found here.
