Temporary Legal Assistant
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Temporary Legal Assistant to join our client’s team in Boston, MA. This role is 100% onsite and offers an exciting opportunity to support multiple attorneys in a fast-paced litigation environment. The Legal Secretary will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations by managing document preparation, coordinating schedules, and assisting with case-related tasks. This is a temporary position with an immediate start date, ideal for candidates who thrive in a dynamic legal setting.
Compensation:
$31 – $35/hour, based on experience
Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (35-hour work week)
Key Responsibilities of the Temporary Legal Assistant???????:
- Prepare and format legal documents, pleadings, and filings
- Manage e-filing processes and maintain case documentation
- Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, and office logistics for attorneys and visitors
- Assist with discovery management, notices of appearance, and expense tracking
- 3–5 years of legal experience, preferably in litigation
- Proficiency with e-filing systems and document management tools
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel; billing experience is a plus
This role offers hands-on experience supporting high-level attorneys and exposure to complex litigation cases. You’ll work closely with a collaborative team and gain valuable insight into legal operations while contributing to impactful work.
