Duties/Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership & Account Management:Lead and manage relationships with national accounts, ensuring growth and strategic alignment with company goals.
Oversee independent accounts and channel partners, providing support, guidance, and strategic direction to maximize sales performance.
Develop and execute sales strategies for both national and independent channels, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with key national retailers and independent partners.
Sales Forecasting & Revenue Growth:
Develop and manage accurate sales forecasts for the North American market, ensuring alignment with business targets.
Utilize market data, trends, and analytics to predict demand, identify opportunities, and mitigate risks.
Monitor sales performance against targets, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure sales goals are met or exceeded.
Track and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to the VP of Sales and senior leadership.
Strategic Sales Planning & Execution:
Collaborate with the VP of Sales to set national sales strategies and priorities for the region.
Implement sales plans that drive product penetration and increase market share for Cybex products.
Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
Ensure the proper training and development of internal and external sales teams to support Cybex products and brand.
Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence:
Analyze industry trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and tactics.
Stay informed about consumer behavior, regulatory changes, and market shifts in the juvenile products industry, especially related to car seats, strollers, and safety products.
Provide actionable insights to senior leadership for business development and competitivepositioning.
Independent Accounts & Channel Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with independent sales representatives and distributors across North America.
Oversee the development and execution of sales plans for independent accounts to ensure their alignment with Cybex's objectives.
Ensure independent partners are effectively trained and supported, leading to increased sales and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
7+ years of experience in sales, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role managing national accounts and independent channels.
Proven track record of success in sales forecasting, revenue growth, and exceeding sales targets.
Strong experience in managing large-scale national and independent accounts within the juvenile products or consumer goods industries.
Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to adapt to changing market conditions.
Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
Understanding of product trends in juvenile products, specifically in car seats, strollers, and baby gear.
Preferred Skills:
Previous experience in the juvenile products, baby gear, or safety equipment sectors (e.g., strollers, carseats).
Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards related to car seats and strollers.
Ability to travel frequently across North America to meet with key accounts and partners.
