Compensation: Up to $160 per day ($25/hr before taxes)

Schedule: As-needed; candidates available 3+ days/week prioritized

Location: Sharon, MA

Amergis Educational Staffing is partnered with schools in Sharon that are seeking Substitute Paraprofessionals to provide day-to-day coverage for staff call-outs. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who are flexible, reliable, and eager to support students across a variety of classroom settings.

About the Role

Hours will vary depending on daily coverage needs, and candidates who can consistently provide coverage three or more days per week will be prioritized.

Substitute paraprofessionals may be placed in any grade level and should be comfortable adapting to different classroom environments and student needs throughout the school day.

Responsibilities

• Provide support in general education or special education classrooms

• Offer 1:1 or small-group assistance as needed

• Support students with behavioral needs using district-approved strategies

• Assist with toileting and personal care when required

• Follow teacher and school staff direction to maintain a safe, structured environment

• Build positive, supportive rapport with students and staff

Ideal Candidates

• Flexible, dependable, and comfortable working in varying classroom settings

• Experience with student support, behavioral strategies, or special education (preferred but not required)

• Compassionate, patient, and student-centered

• Comfortable assisting with toileting and personal care tasks
