Adecco is hiring immediately for a **Warehouse Worker** with a local client in **Agawam, MA** ! Apply now if you meet the qualifications listed below! + **Contract Type:** Temp + **Pay rate:** $22.27 per hour + **Shift/Hours:** Monday - Friday 2nd shift 12 PM to 8:30 PM **Essential Duties** + Responsible for keeping track of items sent to our distribution centers from our suppliers, review order invoices and inspect products for damage. + Process customer orders daily to meet their expectations. + Work in one or more process paths; receiving, picking, packing, or shipping. + Package and label shipments according to standard operating procedures and complete documentation requirements for hazardous materials. + Help make sure inventory is stored properly. + Operate swing reach trucks, stand-up forklifts, and order pickers (training available if needed). + Accurately sort cartons onto pallets and prepare products for shipment. + Put away inventory using warehouse management systems and equipment. + Potentially pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping. + Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace. + Follow all company safety and compliance guidelines. **Preferred Experience** + 2+ years of general warehouse experience. + Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers). + Experience handling hazardous materials (chemicals) is a plus. + Experience with computers and scanning equipment is a plus. + Must be willing to learn new equipment and systems if not already trained or skilled. **Preferred Qualifications** + Education - High school diploma or equivalent required. + Experience with order picking and receiving operations. + Prior experience operating swing reach trucks and stand-up forklifts. + Comfortable working at heights up to 20 feet. + Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team. **Knowledge, Skills, Abilities** + Must be able to stand and move about the warehouse for significant periods of time (involving walking, stooping, bending, and reaching required). + Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. + Possess the desire to work as part of a team, but also able to work independently and solve problems quickly. + Must be able wo read and write in English. **Pay Details:** $22.27 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
