Logistics Lead Analyst

We are looking for a Logistics Lead Analyst to manage and optimize our transportation and freight operations. In this role, you will leverage advanced analytics and AI-enabled tools to drive cost efficiency and service reliability across a dynamic supply chain network Key Responsibilities

• Transportation Operations: Coordinate daily transportation to ensure on-time, in-full delivery while managing carrier and 3PL relationships.
• Freight Optimization: Evaluate lane performance and carrier utilization using AI-driven analytics to identify network efficiencies.
• Strategic Modeling: Support freight bid events and rate negotiations using predictive insights and scenario modeling.
• Financial Control: Reconcile freight invoices, investigate discrepancies, and partner with Finance on budget tracking and accruals.
• Operational Support: Provide part-time shipping clerk support, including processing BOLs, checking in drivers, and verifying trailer integrity.

What You Bring

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or Engineering preferred.
• Experience: 3-5+ years in transportation or logistics operations with strong analytical skills.
• Technical Savvy: Proficiency with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Excel. Experience with AI logistics tools, Power BI, Tableau, or SQL is a major plus.
• Physical Ability: Comfort working in an on-site office, production, and warehouse environment, including the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities: Transportation & Logistics Operations • Coordinate and schedule daily transportation needs to ensure on-time, in-full delivery. • Track shipments through delivery, proactively addressing service disruptions and capacity constraints. • Manage carrier, broker, and 3PL relationships, ensuring performance expectations are met. • Oversee transportation execution while balancing service, cost, and operational constraints. Freight Optimization & Cost Management • Use AI-enabled analytics and transportation data to evaluate freight spend, lane performance, and carrier utilization. • Support freight bid events and rate negotiations using scenario modeling, historical performance data, and predictive insights. • Identify opportunities to redesign lanes, consolidate shipments, and improve network efficiency. • Monitor market trends, capacity shifts, and rate volatility to proactively adjust freight strategiesAI, Analytics & Decision Support • Leverage AI-driven insights, forecasting tools, and optimization models to support transportation planning and cost control. • Translate advanced analytics into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership and operations teams. • Continuously improve the use of analytics and AI tools to enhance visibility, predict risk, and support smarter decision making.
