Front Desk - University Office

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Desk Receptionist in a bustling academic environment. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for students, faculty, and visitors, playing a crucial part in maintaining a positive and efficient atmosphere within our academic community.

Information:

  • Pay: $20/hour
  • Schedule: Wednesday - Sunday 4pm to 12am
  • Location: Cambridge, MA, near Central Square


Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist visitors, students, and faculty with professionalism and a friendly demeanor at the front desk.
  • Manage phone calls, emails, and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate departments or individuals.
  • Maintain an organized front desk area, handling incoming and outgoing mail, and assisting with various administrative tasks.
  • Schedule appointments and manage calendars for university staff, ensuring efficient coordination of daily activities.


Qualifications:

  • At least 6 months experience in a front desk or administrative role is required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse individuals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic office equipment
  • Ability to work an on-site schedule in Cambridge from 4pm-12pm Wednesday to Sunday
