Sr Systems Engineer (Communications System Design)
Kforce's client, a leading global technology firm in Marlborough, MA, is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer (Communications Systems Design) to support mission-critical projects involving Information Assurance (IA) and secure system design. This is a high-impact role within a collaborative, cross-functional engineering team. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement next generation communications systems used around the globe
- Support system engineering effort for IA design and development, including security requirements definition and security architecture analysis
- Develop system requirements to hardware and software disciplines
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to address complex security challenges and implement robust, scalable solutions
- Analyze system requirements and contribute to multiple product release cycles using tools such as DOORS
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Seven or more years of related systems engineering experience
- Five or more years of communication systems design experience
- Knowledge of systems architecture principles to support security-focused design
- Proficiency in requirements analysis and documentation
- Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
