Machine Quality Inspector (must have GD&T) $33.59 - Direct hire

This position is a DIRECT HIRE ROLE from day one

Responsibilities:

• Reading and utilizing measuring instruments such as rules, squares, circumference tapes, vernier, calipers, diameter gauges, radius gauges, pressure gauges

• Applying all testing and measuring procedures as needed with no supervision

• Checking dimensions on parts and documenting reports of inspection as needed

• Advising supervisor if operations needs to be stopped on parts that are being produced that are not within tolerance or specifications

• Inspection and report all defects of incoming material, tools, dies, casting and performing necessary inspection functions

• Building inspection setups , gauges, fixtures if needed

• Maintain inspection records as required

Qualifications:

• Previous quality inspection required

• Experience using measuring instruments such as verniers, calipers, gauges

These Certifications would be a plus:

• Certified welding inspector

• Level II penetrant certification

• Level II Eddy current certification

• Level II Ultrasonic testing certifications

• MA Hoisting License 1C/3A

• OHSA Fork Truck Evaluation Certificate

Hours are:

Monday through Friday – 2nd shift – 2:15pm to 10:15pm

The pay is up to $33.59 based on experience
