Customer Service Rep - First Notice of Loss (Work from Home or Hybrid)

As one of our Customer Service Representatives, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional customer experience to our customers and agents. CALL CENTER BILLING or FIRST NOTICE OF LOSS EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills are preferred
Schedule/Hours : Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (EST) while in training (approximately 6-7 weeks).
Once training is complete, regular work schedule will be a flex schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m (EST) . This position requires some Company holidays to be worked.
Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative you will act as a key resource which includes responsibilities in answering calls for billing and functions for all products, lines of business and affiliates and coordinating first notice of loss claims.
Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
Experience:
- 1 – 3 years of experience in a customer service role
- Ability to make good business decisions without guidance, but escalating when needed
- Strong sense of accountability
- Proven ability to problem solve
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to be on the phone for extended periods of time
- Ability to take constructive feedback from both peers and Supervisors

Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by several factors including skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. Some roles at Mapfre are eligible for commission and/or bonus earnings, in addition to salary, calculated based upon factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
Salary Range
$17.75 - $20.00 per hour
