Compensation Range: $75-$82/hour
Job Description:
Lead security efforts in pre-commercial medical device launches, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Focus on pre-commercial launch security strategies.
- Write rationales for security decisions and documentation.
- Participate in meetings to align with internal teams.
- Conduct software security reviews.
- Lead workshops on security practices.
- Maintain and update risk documents.
Requirements
Must-Haves:
- Experience with pre-commercial product launches.
- Strong understanding of medical device security procedures.
- Knowledge of medical device compliance & regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, SOC2, FedRAMP, ISO 27001, 524B).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to move quickly and adapt.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience leading security workshops.
- Background in software security assessments.
- Familiarity with risk management frameworks.
