Our client is currently seeking a qualified Sr. Director Enterprise Program Management Office/Business Partners to join their team onsite in Boston, MA. This role will drive best practices in project management, resource allocation, and cross-functional collaboration to enable business growth and operational excellence. Duties And Responsibilities- Lead the Enterprise PMO, managing a team of business partners and project managers to deliver strategic programs and projects on time and within budget
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of large, complex implementations, including those in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, medical or healthcare industry
- Develop and implement PMO methodologies, standards, and tools to ensure consistent project execution and reporting
- Collaborate with key business functions to include Finance, Supply Chain Operations, HR, & Legal teams to understand their needs, translating business requirements into IT solutions
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic guidance on how technology can automate and simplify functional operations and decision-making
- Partner with business leaders to understand organizational priorities and translate them into actionable project plans
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for PMO staff and business partners
- Monitor project performance, risks, and issues, ensuring timely resolution and escalation as needed
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration across project teams
- Support enterprise resource planning (ERP) initiatives and other business-critical projects
- Ensure alignment of PMO activities with organizational goals and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Performs other tasks and duties as necessary
- Lead and inspire a team of program/project managers and business partners, promoting a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence
- Mentor and develop next-generation leaders across the IT organization
- Foster strong collaboration across IT, finance, operations, and digital functions
- Model core values: integrity, discipline, transparency, and teamwork
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in project management, program management, or business support roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity
- Proven track record of managing large, complex programs in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, medical or healthcare industry
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience implementing PMO best practices, methodologies, and tools
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment
- Master's Degree in a relevant field
- PMP or similar project management certification
- Experience with ERP implementations and enterprise business systems
The rate for this position is between $187,500 - $275,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
