Job Duties : Interacts with product and service teams to identify questions and issues for data analysis and experiments. Develops and codes software programs, algorithms and automated processes to cleanse, integrate and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources. Identifies meaningful insights from large data and metadata sources; interprets and communicates insights and findings from analysis and experiments to product, service, and business managers. May telecommute.

Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related technical field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a Data Scientist-related experience. (385.33638)

Position requires:

Statistics: regression, hypothesis testing, time series analysis,

causal inference;

Machine Learning and Deep Learning;

Data Analytics;

Data Mining;

Optimization solver programs (such as Gurobi and CPLEX)

Programming: Python, R, SQL, Java;

Relational Database Languages;

Data Structures and Algorithms;

Natural Language Processing and Large Language Models; and

Linear and integer programming theory and models

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $69,000 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
