Pay Rate: $20.00/hr plus shift differentials

  • 2nd Shift Differential: +$2.00/hr

  • 3rd Shift Differential: +$3.00/hr

Shift Details

  • 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday | 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (2 openings)

  • 3rd Shift: Sunday–Thursday | 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM (2 openings)

Position Summary

We are seeking experienced Pouch Making Lead Operators to support 2nd and 3rd shift operations. This role acts as a working shift lead for pouch-making equipment. You will guide and monitor operators, adjust machinery to maintain quality, perform quality testing, and ensure production schedules are met in a safe, organized environment.

This position requires strong communication with team members and coordination across shifts.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Operate pouch-making production machinery

  • Assist Senior Leads with machine setup activities

  • Perform minor machine adjustments to ensure product quality

  • Conduct quality testing throughout the pouch-making process

  • Work closely with Pouch Making Testers to ensure standards are met

  • Assist with product changeovers

  • Cover breaks and lunches as needed

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area

  • Report any food safety, quality, or compliance concerns to management

  • This is a Safety Sensitive Position

Qualifications

  • Previous experience operating and setting up production machinery

    (Must be a machine operator — not CNC, not machine tender)

  • Mechanical aptitude

  • Strong attention to detail and quality focus

  • Organized and thorough

  • Willingness to learn and take direction

  • Good communication skills

  • Team-oriented mindset

  • Basic computer skills are helpful

Training & Expectations

  • All tools and tool carts are provided

  • On-the-job training and work instructions provided

  • Training attendance is critical:

    • Must punch in between 5:45–5:55 AM during training

    • May not leave before 2:30 PM during training

  • Honesty is expected regarding attendance, scheduling needs, and job fit

  • Candidates will attend orientation and shadow the role before full placement
