Can you walk up to a downed line, read the clues, and bring it back to life? If root-cause analysis, precise repairs, and proactive care are your signature moves, this role puts your skills front and center across hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electronic, and basic electrical systems.

What success looks like

• Production assets run reliably because you execute preventive and predictive maintenance with discipline.
• Troubleshooting is swift and systematic—schematics in hand, issues isolated, and fixes applied.
• Forklifts, compressors, driers, vacuum pumps, and low-pressure boilers get serviced on schedule.
• Mold changes are smooth: you set up, remove, and store tooling per documented procedures.
• Fill guns and ejectors are bench-tested, cleaned, rebuilt, and inspected for consistent performance.
• Facility basics are covered—minor electrical (bulbs/fuses), light carpentry/repair, and small plumbing fixture swaps.
• Surfaces are protected and presentable with paint, varnish, or stain when needed.
• Water treatment checks (hardness, pH, etc.) are completed and reported accurately.
• Job specs and task lists are followed, with all paperwork completed thoroughly.
• Safety leads every step: lockout/tagout, correct PPE, and tidy work areas.
• Other duties as assigned keep the operation moving.

Your background

• HS diploma or GED; a two-year degree or technical certificate is preferred.
• About three years of relevant maintenance experience; you can handle standard repairs independently.
• Comfortable reading schematics to troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues.
• Experience using MRP/ERP systems for work orders and documentation.
• Hands-on time with low-pressure boilers, air compressors, air driers, and vacuum pumps.
• Forklift maintenance experience.
• Willing and able to work assigned shifts, put in overtime, and attend after-hours meetings as needed.
• You’re a self-starter with strong time management and a commitment to Altor Solutions’ safety and conduct standards.

Physical demands

You can frequently lift and carry up to 45 pounds and maintain close vision. Expect regular sitting, hand use, and talking/hearing; frequent standing and walking; reaching; and stooping/crouching, bending, or twisting. At times, you’ll push, pull, or move materials and work in awkward positions, including under equipment or near operating machinery.
