Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Development: Design and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that meets the needs of all children in the classroom.
• Classroom Management: Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Child Assessment: Monitor and assess children's progress through observations and assessments, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
• Parental Engagement: Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers about their child's progress and activities, fostering strong partnerships.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning community.
• Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with early childhood education best practices.
• Compliance: Ensure that all activities and curriculum align with state guidelines and standards.

Qualifications:

• Certification: Valid state certification in Early Childhood Education.
• Experience: Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting is preferred.
