Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Certified Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will foster a positive and engaging learning environment for young children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development through creative and age-appropriate activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Development: Design and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that meets the needs of all children in the classroom.
- Classroom Management: Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Child Assessment: Monitor and assess children's progress through observations and assessments, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
- Parental Engagement: Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers about their child's progress and activities, fostering strong partnerships.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning community.
- Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with early childhood education best practices.
- Compliance: Ensure that all activities and curriculum align with state guidelines and standards.
Qualifications:
- Certification: Valid state certification in Early Childhood Education.
- Experience: Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting is preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Creativity and enthusiasm for teaching.
- Knowledge of child development principles.
