Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Massachusetts, requiring a permanent MA RN license and telemetry reading ability.

Details

• Emergency Department (ER) setting at an acute care hospital in Worcester, MA
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, with a base start time of 7:00 PM
• Shift start time may flex up to four hours earlier or later than posted based on critical staffing need, though this occurs very rarely
• Epic EMR experience is preferred

Requirements

• Active, permanent MA RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 1.5 years of RN experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips
• 2 professional references required for consideration, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or above
• Candidates must reside more than 200 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• No prior disciplinary actions or encumbrances on nursing license

Additional Information

• Orientation includes two pass/fail exams: a medication exam and a telemetry/EKG exam
• Each exam allows only one attempt — failure of either exam will result in immediate contract cancellation
• Study materials will be provided during the compliance process and prior to orientation to help candidates prepare
