Java Developer
Kforce has a client in need of a Java Developer in Boston, MA. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and support enterprise applications using modern software engineering practices
- Collaborate with business analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions
- Build and enhance application components, services, and APIs while following established development standards
- Participate in Agile development activities, including planning, development, testing, and production support
- Troubleshoot application issues, optimize performance, and support deployment activities
- Contribute to automation, continuous integration, and software quality improvement initiatives
- Follow risk, security, and compliance requirements while maintaining reliable application performance
- 3+ years of software development experience in enterprise environments
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, and object-oriented programming principles
- Knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and data access technologies
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures, messaging platforms, and caching technologies
- Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, and CI/CD practices
- Understanding of software testing, application security, and scalable system design
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum development teams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
