ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR, CLINIC, Sargent College, Physical Therapy Dept
Boston University's Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences is one of the countries leading schools of health and rehabilitation sciences. The Clinic Administrative Coordinator will provide administrative support for three of the clinical centers within Sargent College: Sargent Choice Nutrition Center, the Center for Neurorehabilitation and the Aphasia Resource Center. The Administrative Clinic Coordinator supports the clinical, educational and research programs of the Centers. The coordinator provides patient care support for clinical programs including greeting patients, managing phones, scheduling appointments/programming, payments, insurance matters, patient intake and ensuring HIPAA compliance. Will also provide budgetary, administrative and research support to each center as needed. Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree and one to three years of experience, preferably in a clinical or medical setting.
- Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable with learning and troubleshooting new software systems.
- Able to work independently and accurately with high attention to detail.
- Ability to learn and navigate a variety of electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Ability to successfully communicate on sensitive and confidential topics with a variety of individuals including patients, faculty and staff.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations.
