Product Manager, Evolv eXpedite
The Elevator Pitch
Evolv is seeking a dynamic Product Manager to lead the ongoing enhancement of Evolv eXpedite™, our concealed weapons detection system for bag screening, which started shipping in January 2026.
As Product Manager, your focus will be to deliver meaningful product improvements—enhancing capabilities, increasing reliability, and reducing costs—to drive customer adoption, subscription renewals, and long-term product value. This is a high-impact leadership role which requires a solid understanding of core engineering domains, including mechanical and electrical engineering, embedded systems, and applied AI. The ideal candidate brings structured thinking, a strong bias for action, and a focus on driving customer value. Knowledge of x-ray technology is a plus.
Success in the Role: What are performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?
Within 3 months, you will:
- Meet with customers and observe eXpedite in live environments to understand how product performance impacts security operations and customer return on investment
- Support a go-live installation to gain first-hand insight into deployment success factors and customer pain points
- Present a brief to leadership outlining initial impression of the market and product improvement opportunities aligned to customer impact
- Build strong relationships across the sales, customer enablement, support, service, and research & development organizations to understand internal product perspectives
- Refine the product roadmap to prioritize initiatives focused on customer satisfaction, product reliability, and cost reduction
By 6 months, you will:
- Deliver at least one roadmap initiative that improves system performance, reliability, or customer experience
- Lead the successful field testing of a new feature update
- Launch a new version of eXpedite software and enable internal teams and partners to sell and support the update effectively
- Educate internal and partner field teams as well as customers on the new features in the launch
- Be recognized as the go-to product leader for eXpedite—driving cross-functional alignment and delivering against performance metrics like NPS, renewal rate, and time-to-resolution
The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?
As Product Manager for Evolv eXpedite™, you’ll drive product strategy and execution from concept to launch, ensuring technical feasibility, customer value, and business impact. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to deliver high-quality, differentiated solutions that improve reliability, reduce costs, and support growth.
Product Execution and Strategy
- Own and execute the product roadmap to deliver reliability improvements, cost reductions, and differentiated features that support subscription renewals and new business
- Define clear and actionable product requirements and guide R&D teams in design trade-off decisions
- Ensure compliance with country-specific regulations to support market expansion.
GTM Readiness
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, Service and Enablement teams to prepare go-to-market teams for new feature launches
- Develop and maintain product pricing, SKUs, and price books; train internal and partner teams on product positioning and value
- Support Sales to customer proposals, deal desk discussions, and field training to accelerate sales and reduce friction in closing
Product Quality & Lifecycle Management
- Lead field testing, third-party validation, and change control processes to ensure high-quality releases
- Write software release notes and support post-launch monitoring for adoption and issue resolution
Cross-Functional & Customer Collaboration
- Act as the product expert across internal teams as well as with customers
- Support customer evaluations of Evolv’s cybersecurity posture
