Engineered Solutions | Industrial B2B | Leadership Role
We’re looking for a Director of Engineering to lead and scale a high‑impact, customer‑facing engineering organization that delivers engineered solutions, field services, training, and custom‑built solutions.
This is a senior leadership role for someone who can blend technical depth, commercial mindset, and operational execution —positioning Engineering as a strategic, revenue‑generating engine that drives customer value, margin growth, and long‑term account expansion.

What You’ll Lead
You’ll have responsibility for:
- Engineering – Field Engineers & Application Engineers - 3 Direct Reports to Start and Growing Significantly
- Custom Solutions & Services – Technical Specialists, Trainers, Production & Scheduling
- Fabrication & Assembly Teams
What You’ll Do
Set the vision, strategy, and operating model for the Engineering organization
Scale teams and capabilities to support growth across markets and customers
Act as senior technical authority and escalation point for complex challenges
Drive delivery of engineered solutions, field services, training, and custom fabrication
Ensure engineering excellence, safety, quality, and best practices
Balance solution standardization with high‑value customization
Partner closely with Sales to support solution selling and technical win strategies
Support key customer engagements, technical reviews, and executive presentations
Oversee production scheduling, capacity planning, and on‑time delivery
Own margins, utilization, and continuous process improvement
Build, develop, and retain top engineering and technical talent
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial or related)
7–10+ years of progressive engineering leadership experience in an industrial B2B environment
Proven experience leading customer‑facing engineering teams
⚙ Strong background in engineered systems, custom fabrication, and technical services
Demonstrated success partnering with Sales and Operations
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in Engineering or Business (MBA)
- Experience in fluid systems, life sciences, semiconductor, or advanced manufacturing
- Background in distribution, OEM, or engineered solutions business models
