**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed within a healthcare location.
+ Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help support a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
+ Document observations and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences to the appropriate authorities and Allied Universal management.
+ Assist with controlling access to restricted areas and monitor the flow of individuals throughout the healthcare location.
+ Support the enforcement of hospital or facility policies, including visitor and contractor management, in accordance with site procedures.
+ Collaborate with healthcare staff and first responders during emergencies and/or drills, providing assistance as directed.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ At least one year of security-related experience is required.
+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.
+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
