Marblehead: Part Time Nanny/Family Assistant Needed ASAP

Hello Caregivers!

Our lovely Marblehead family is looking for an active, engaging, and  reliable  part-time nanny to join their team. Experience with children toddler-elementary age is a must have! Ideal candidates are experienced with age-appropriate developmental activities and conscious of keeping kiddos engaged, growing, and learning through play. Family is seeking an active self-starter that will jump right in and be an extension of mom and dad- someone that can help the household run smoothly. Position requires driving to and from school and activities. Family will provide a vehicle for caregiver's use. We would love to hear from you if you love getting the kids outside, even when it's cold! Mom and Dad mostly work outside the home. Bilingual English/Spanish a huge plus but not required **Seeking a LONG-TERM commitment. Please only apply if you'd also prefer a 2+ year commitment**

Hours: 
Wednesdays, Thursdays, & Fridays 7:45am-5:00pm

Charges: 4 children, ages 1, 3, 5, & 7

Rate: $40+ per hour depending on experience and fit

Benefits:  guaranteed minimum weekly pay, paid holidays

Job description:

• Creating a safe and stimulating environment for children
• Tidying up after the kids and the workday
• Preparing meals and snacks for the children daily, potentially prepping school lunches, cleaning out lunchboxes
• Indoor and outdoor play/walks
• Stimulating activities and age-appropriate games
• Facilitating age-appropriate developmental activities- crafts, singing, reading, etc.
• Taking kids on local   outings- park, beaches, playdates, walks, groups, etc.
• Children's laundry
• Occasional toy rotation/organization during nap times
• general household help including emptying/loading dishwasher, wiping down surfaces, picking up toys, helping the children with tidying, errands with the kids as needed (running to Target, grabbing a birthday present, etc.)

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills
• Values routines and schedules
• Self starter who can jump in where needed
• Physically able to lift and keep up with toddlers and young children
• Looking for long-term placement
• Active, energetic, engaged
• Ability to handle school/activity pick up and drop off
• Organized, motivated and task-driven 
• Non-smokers only, please. 
• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Cheery and Helpful Disposition
• Background Check (provided by agency)
• Safe/Clear Driving Record (provided by agency)
• Takes good direction on parenting style and family's routine, then requires minimal to no oversight.
