Job Description

Aerotek is hiring immediately! We are seeking skilled construction laborers to join our team for a framing subcontractor project. This is a full-time position for a multi-family building project in Belmont, currently entering its second phase. The role involves installing floor and roof trusses, installing prefabricated wall panels, and learning how to layout rafters. While framing experience is preferred, we are open to training entry-level candidates. Position offers competitive pay and benefits!

Responsibilities

• Perform wood framing for a multi-family unit apartment complex.
• Remove old wood structures and replace them with new wood.
• Utilize hand and power tools effectively for construction tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project completion on schedule.

Essential Skills

• Framing experience in construction.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Possession of OSHA 10 certification.
• Rough carpentry skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• True framing experience or willingness to learn for entry-level candidates.
• Openings available for both experienced and entry-level individuals.

Work Environment

The work takes place on-site at a construction area for a multi-family apartment complex. Expect to work full-time with a potential for extended employment as new orders are received. Safety equipment, including OSHA-compliant tools, will be utilized.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Belmont, MA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
