Job Description:
The Tobin Children's School, part of The Tobin Schools Natick, is seeking a full-time Assistant Program Director to join our team of professionals. This is a full-time, year-round position with a full benefit package. Tobin is part of Inspire Early Education.

This professional would work closely with an experienced Program Director and our Sr. Lead Teachers to provide oversight and leadership of this large 9 classroom early childhood program serving infants up to PreK. This is a busy, highly regarded program serving over 100 children per day with care offered from 7:15-5:45. Tobin Children's School is licensed by MA EEC and accredited by NAEYC. Familiarity with these standards is required.

Who We Are:

The Tobin Children’s School is an NAEYC accredited program offering full-year, full-day programs to infants up through PreK on its large Natick campus. The Tobin Children’s School, celebrating over 30 years of excellent care and education, has an strong reputation in our area, winning Best Childcare Center in Metrowest for 22 years running. We are also a Boston Parent's Paper Family Favorite eight years in a row! The Tobin Children's School provides a variety of experiences and activities designed to encourage children to learn about themselves, their friends, and their surroundings through small and large group experiences, quiet times and active play, as well as indoor and outdoor activities. We strive to provide a robust developmentally appropriate curriculum with the opportunity for creativity and teacher input.

We offer 9 stand-alone classrooms in our restored Victorian with two infant rooms, three toddler rooms, two Preschool and two PreK classrooms. We also offer beautiful outside play spaces, including playgrounds for infants, toddlers, preschool and school-age students, a turf field, garden spaces, sandboxes, and mud kitchen and loose parts area. We also have an indoor gross motor room.

Requirements:

Successful applicants must have EEC Director 1 certification, as well as Infant/Toddler & Preschool certification. Several year of experience in the classroom and/or a leadership role is requested. A degree in early childhood or related field is highly valued. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Ability to stay organized and handle a fast paced environment is also required. Knowledge of a second language is a plus. Successful candidates must have some flexiblity of schedule to allow some opening and closing days.

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rate based on education and experience. Pay range: $24.00-$26.00 per hour.
