Bivium is closely partnered with the founders of this privately funded startup, who have an impressive track record. As in the past, they have turned to Bivium to find top engineering talent, and once again, they have exclusively engaged us to recruit a new Senior Software Engineer for their small (<10) development team.

This small (around 20-25 employees) consumer-facing web application company is fully funded, has ample runway, and growing areas of monetization.

They are seeking skilled Full-Stack Senior Software Engineers to join their team in creating the best application on the web. As a small, highly skilled group, they emphasize data-driven results and rapid iteration. Being part of an early-stage startup, you will have the opportunity to learn multiple disciplines and new technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with team members to swiftly transform ideas from concept to production.
• Contribute wherever you can make the most significant impact, whether that's implementing new user-facing features, integrating with key partners or technologies, or conducting quick tests to inform future directions.
• Promote the adoption of new technologies and methodologies.
• Engage in continuous learning to expand your skill set.

Ideal Candidate:
• Proficient in creating scalable, full-stack web applications.
• Enthusiastic about tackling challenges and acquiring new skills as necessary.
• Knowledge of Java, ES6, and Python is advantageous.
• A genuine Full-Stack engineer with robust back-end expertise.
• Experience with React/Next.js is highly beneficial.
• Strong background in SQL and caching techniques.
• Practical experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure.
• Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.

The position requires in-office work three days a week at their new office in Cambridge. The founders have families and are not pushing their employees to work ‘startup hours’. They promote a healthy work-life balance, ensuring reasonable hours for their team.

The base salary ranges from $150,000 to $180,000, complemented by valuable stock options. The founders have a proven track record of successful exits, and there is every reason to believe they will achieve similar success again.
