Financial Planning Alternatives, an independent financial services firm, is seeking a full-time Associate Advisor & Insurance Service Specialist. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with a seasoned CFP® in a client-focused, community-based practice that delivers high-touch, holistic financial planning. What You’ll Do Support the CFP® with client service, financial planning, and advanced/high-net-worth cases Provide financial guidance and service for clients with less complex planning needs Prepare client meeting materials, reviews, and follow-up communications Service life, LTC, and annuity policies, including processing applications and coordinating with carriers Maintain accurate client and policy records while ensuring compliance requirements are met Participate in firm marketing, networking, community outreach, and new business development initiatives Contribute to the growth of the practice through relationship-focused business development (no cold calling) Qualifications 3+ years of financial services experience Series 7 & 66 required (63 & 65 acceptable in lieu of 66); Life/Health license preferred Strong communication skills and client-service focus Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CRM/financial planning software (eMoney a plus) Compensation & Benefits Base salary of $75,000–$95,000, commensurate with skills and experience Benefits negotiable, may include PTO, paid holidays, semi-flexible hours, retirement plan match, and health coverage Commission/bonus opportunities as the role grows
