Job Title: Echocardiography Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer

Location: Hyannis, MA

Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)

Schedule: Day/Evening, 5x8 (Rotating Shifts)

Compensation:

• $2,400 – $2,840/week (Based on experience)

Position Overview:

A leading healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Echocardiography Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer to perform high-quality cardiac ultrasound studies. The ideal candidate will work closely with cardiologists to deliver accurate diagnostic imaging for adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform echocardiography studies including 2D, M-Mode, and Doppler (Pulse Wave, Continuous Wave, and Color Flow)
• Obtain patient history and prepare patients for procedures
• Position patients and select appropriate imaging techniques for optimal results
• Provide preliminary interpretations for physician review
• Perform emergency and on-demand echocardiography procedures
• Assist physicians with specialized procedures, including transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
• Maintain accurate documentation and echo lab records
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and quality protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support patient care
• Rotate between multiple clinical sites as required

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of experience in echocardiography required
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare setting
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and communication)
• Flexibility to rotate between multiple locations

Certifications & Licensure:

• RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) – Required
• BLS Certification – Required
• All certifications must be active and current
