Core Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the VP LEGO.com and Retail leadership team to integrate data-driven insights into daily decision-making.

  • Analyze large data sets (including big data analytics and data science) to uncover insights related to products, channels, customers, shoppers, and members, driving informed business strategies.

  • Lead regular business reviews, focusing on clear and accessible communication of business performance and key data insights.

  • Support and strengthen the data and insights capabilities across the Americas, sharing knowledge and creating meaningful opportunities for the team and the business to grow together.

  • Support and socialize key business reports that enable efficient and effective decision-making, ensuring performance storylines are clear and actionable.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations, eCommerce) to ensure that insights are translated into strategic actions that drive commercial impact.

  • Measure and report on key success indicators, ensuring the team’s work is aligned with commercial goals and drives meaningful impact.

  • Collaborate with Global Analytics & Insights partners to systematize processes and recurring insights generation.

Play your part in our team succeeding

As the Senior Analytics & Insights Partner for the LEGO.com, you will report directly to Head of A&I LEGO Retail and collaborate closely with the VP of LEGO.com & the Channels Leadership team. You will be responsible for leading commercial performance analysis, finding opportunities, and enabling stronger commercial decisions through data-driven insights. Additionally you will collaborate across our global Analytics & Insights and LEGO Retail Teams to drive growth across the LEGO Group.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Extensive experience in analytics and insights generation, with experience in consumer goods, retail, or eCommerce industries.

  • Strong commercial competence with the ability to translate data into business impact and drive commercial decisions.

  • Familiar with advanced analytics tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, predictive modeling, machine learning, statistical measurement) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to tell data-driven stories and influence key collaborators across all levels of the organization.

  • Financial competence and outstanding analytical skills with the ability to build new metrics and reporting that drive performance.

  • Skill in collaborating across various teams to integrate analytics into the decision-making processes throughout the organization.

  • Proven experience in Analyst type roles with focus in Retail or FMCG that demonstrate strong business partnership with senior leaders.

  • Ability to travel approximately 2-4 times per year.

Nice to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Marketing, Engineering, Math, Physics or related field preferred.

  • Previous experience with Databricks.

  • Experience in consulting, external market research, or with top-tier consumer brands.

Compensation

The salary for this position has a range of $134,750.00 - $202,126.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
