Licensed Therapist (Part-Time) – North Shore Professional Therapy, LLC
Location: Topsfield, MA (In-person office hours + option for tele-health)
Position Type: Part-time Fee for Service W2 - $80 per 50 minute session

Position Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Therapist (LMHC, LICSW, LMFT, PsyD, PhD) to provide outpatient psychotherapy in the hours when our office is available (flexibility for the candidate to chose from afternoons, evenings, weekends, or flexible daytime slots) and virtually (per the candidates scheduling availability). The ideal candidate has experience working with women and/or teens, a strong interest in anxiety and trauma-focused treatment, and a commitment to maintaining ethical, high-quality care.
This position offers the stability of office space, access to an electronic health record (EHR), free marketing, and referrals—allowing you to focus on your clients and clinical work.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual psychotherapy sessions to clients (in-person and/or virtual).
- Maintain flexible caseload of 4-10 weekly sessions
- Complete progress notes and documentation in the EHR within 48 hours.
- Complete Intake and Collaborative, client-centered and trauma-informed (paid consultation available with practice owner regarding this) Bio-psycho-social assessments, Mental Status Exams and subsequent diagnosis (when applicable) and Collaborative Goal Planning for those on your caseload.
- Collaborate with the practice owner to support client/participant care. -paid at admin rate
- Collaborate with outside collaterals (when indicated) -paid at admin rate
- Attend monthly consultation/supervision meetings (virtual or in-person) with practice owner- paid at $80/hr clinical rate.
- Maintain professional and ethical standards consistent with licensing board requirements and HIPAA
Qualifications
- Active and independent license in Massachusetts (LMHC, LICSW, LMFT, PsyD, PhD).
- Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Special interest in working with women, teens, children and/or trauma survivors or those struggling with anxiety disorders.
- Familiarity with evidence-based practices for anxiety and trauma (DBT, CBT, EMDR, ERP, CPT, TF-CBT).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
