Warehouse Clerk
Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, parts, and components in our warehouse. This role is vital in ensuring inventory accuracy and supporting production operations.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and verify incoming materials, parts, and components against packing lists and purchase orders.
- Accurately label, store, and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and prepare materials for production orders according to work instructions.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by performing cycle counts and reporting discrepancies.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or carts.
- Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Assist with shipping tasks, including packaging, labeling, and preparing outgoing orders.
- Update inventory records in ERP or tracking systems to ensure real-time accuracy.
- Communicate shortages, damaged materials, or stock issues to supervisors or purchasing.
- Support material flow by delivering components to production and assisting with general warehouse tasks.
- Proficiency in inventory management, shipping and receiving, material handling, packing, and packaging.
- Strong attention to detail for accurate receiving, labeling, and inventory tracking.
- Basic computer proficiency for updating inventory systems or ERP software.
- Good organizational skills to maintain orderly storage areas and efficient material flow.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with purchasing, production, and shipping teams.
- Experience with accounts payable, excel data entry, and freight invoices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.

Work Environment
Work in a well-organized warehouse setting equipped with essential tools and technology. The facility operates on a standard work schedule, and safety is a top priority. Dress code is casual, appropriate for a warehouse environment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Norwood, MA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
